Since its grand opening on February 17, 2023, The Venue at Thunder Valley has redefined the entertainment landscape in Lincoln, CA. With its state-of-the-art design and exceptional acoustics, this $100 million, 150,000-square-foot facility has quickly become the premier destination for concerts, comedy, and special events in the region.
The Venue opened with a bang over President’s Day weekend, showcasing sold-out performances by the Eagles, Bruno Mars, and Santana. Thunder Valley’s entertainment director, John Bow, described the opening as “incredible,” with fans praising the new venue for its modern amenities and intimate atmosphere.
Longtime talent buyer for Thunder Valley, Billy Brill of DWP Talent Services, alongside Danny Wimmer Presents’ Joe Moallempour and head of talent Del Williams, has been instrumental in curating a lineup of world-class acts. Their expertise ensures The Venue continues to host top-tier performances, bringing excitement to the Sacramento area year-round.
A Venue Like No Other
Replacing the outdoor amphitheater, which hosted more than 300 shows over its 12-year history, The Venue offers a fully climate-controlled environment with 4,500 comfortable seats. Equipped with cutting-edge sound and video systems, multiple green rooms, and theater-facing bars on both levels, every seat truly is the best seat in the house.
As Dawn Clayton, general manager of Thunder Valley, noted during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, “Be prepared to be wowed.” The sentiment was echoed by Gene Whitehouse, chairman of the United Auburn Indian Community, who described The Venue as “a labor of love” and a game-changer for the region.
