Tracy Lawrence
Tracy Lawrence emerged in the early ’90s as a standout in the neo-traditional country scene, blending modern and classic country sounds. Born in Atlanta, Texas in 1968 and raised in Arkansas, he began performing in honky tonks as a teen before moving to Nashville in 1990. His debut album Sticks and Stones (1991) launched him to fame, and hits like “Alibis,” “Time Marches On,” “My Second Home,” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are” earned him multiple chart-topping singles and double-platinum albums.
Over his career, Lawrence has released more than 40 Billboard Country singles, including number-one hits, and celebrated his 30th anniversary with the triple-LP Hindsight in 2021. Known for his mix of heartfelt storytelling and honky-tonk energy, he remains a beloved figure in country music.
