LOS ANGELES, CA | June 1, 2025 — DWP Talent Services is thrilled to celebrate Danny Wimmer, Founder of Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP), on his prestigious inclusion in Pollstar’s 2025 Impact 50 — a list that honors the most influential leaders in the live entertainment industry.

Selected by Pollstar’s editorial team through a mix of Boxoffice performance and demonstrated excellence, this year’s Impact 50 class represents a new era of innovation, diversity, and cultural influence. With nearly half of the honorees identifying as people of color, women, and/or LGBTQ, this list reflects an evolving industry that’s more dynamic and inclusive than ever before — and Danny Wimmer is proudly among those helping lead the charge.

A Vision Grounded in Passion and Strategy

Wimmer has long been a disruptor in the world of live events, and in 2025, his vision continues to thrive. Under his leadership, DWP has grown into one of the most impactful live music companies in the nation, despite remaining one of the smallest high-capacity promoters.

This year, record-breaking crowds at Sonic Temple in Ohio and Welcome to Rockville in Florida drew a combined 230,000 attendees over just four days — proof that DWP’s fan-first philosophy is still hitting all the right notes.

“We know our fans count on our festivals as their vacation, their tradition – sometimes even their bucket list experience,” Wimmer told Pollstar. “That’s why we’re working hard behind the scenes to operate smarter and find efficiencies, so we can keep delivering the quality they expect at a price they can afford.”

That mission isn’t without its challenges. As artist fees and operational costs rise, Wimmer and his team remain laser-focused on the fundamentals: protecting the fan experience while building sustainable, world-class events.

In some cases, that also means knowing when to hit pause. DWP made the strategic decision to postpone GoldenSky, their country festival in Sacramento, due to talent availability — a move Wimmer describes as “punting now to find the end zone later.”

A Banner Year and Bright Future

In addition to Rockville and Sonic Temple, DWP’s calendar is still packed with excitement. Bourbon & Beyond, which took home Festival of the Year honors in 2024 from both Pollstar and IEBA, returns this September with headliners including the iconic Phish. With four major festivals still to come in 2025, DWP is poised for another record-breaking year.

Looking ahead to 2026, Wimmer hints at new festival concepts and expansion into venue booking, casino consulting, and unique one-off events — broadening DWP’s influence far beyond traditional stages.

Leading with Balance and Purpose

Beyond the boardroom and the festival grounds, Danny Wimmer is setting an example in leadership. He recently launched the Rock ’n’ Roll Outdoor Running Club, reinforcing his belief in wellness, balance, and leading by example.

“When you live it daily, you’re not just talking about culture or balance – you’re showing it,” he says.
